Lamp Lines
Design by Mark Waterbury
A 13½" x 6½" four-sided panel lamp shade with geometric design. Rectangular shapes in rich shades of caramel, amber, brown/green opals and lime green/caramel Opalume are accented with stylized figure eights, darts, and diamonds, creating a design with a Southwestern flavor. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.

Giant Panda
Design by Leslie Gibbs
A 15" round panel showing a giant panda leisurely munching away on a tasty snack of bamboo. The black-and-white panda stands out against a background of hunter green opal while bamboo stalks extend into the border of dark green/yellow. For added interest and more depth, details can be added through the use of sandblasting and by drilling holes for highlights in the eyes. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.

Point Wilson
Design by Gary Dodge
A 12-1/8" x 16-1/8" oval panel of Point Wilson lighthouse in Puget Sound near Seattle, Washington. The creamy tones of the keeper's house and tower stand in relief against a dark red roof, rich blue sky, and the deep greens of the landscape. Details are added using copper wire and foil overlay to bring the design to life. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.

Lady of the Woods
Design by Denny Berkery and Michele McDowell
A 12" square mosaic that is a perfect accent for a porch, garden, or other outdoor setting. This portrait of the mythological Lady of the Wood features the use of a cast cement accent available from Valiant Enterprises. DiamondCrete or FlashCrete is used to create a spacer for positioning the accent piece and to finish the mosaic.

Golden Mum Plate
Design by Margot Clark
A 10" fired and slumped plate, which is enhanced using Unique Fired Glass Colors to add a design to regular glass. It features a large chrysanthemum centered in a spray of smaller blossoms and leaves. The addition of fired-gold outlining and a luster with the look of mother-of-pearl make the design very striking and elegant. Initial etching is used to help the paint adhere to the glass.

Swans
Design by Mark Waterbury
A 20" x 28" window panel of swans gliding on a river that flows diagonally from the distance to the forefront of this landscape and past the bottom corner of the border. Opposing diagonal border corners are embellished with curlique design lines and intricately cut glass. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.

Freedom Heart
Design by Garden Elegance
An 8" x 7½" stars-and-stripes heart project made from a precut kit. This suncatcher is perfect for beginners and displays a dark blue heart with large white star while red and white stripes flow to create the remainder of the heart. The project is constructed using the copper foil technique, but it can also be built in lead.

Color Burst
Design by Mark Waterbury
A 10" x 11½" free-form orchid suncatcher done in fetching shades of opal/orange streaky with vivid leaves of dark green on a background of cobalt blue/clear/amber streaky. Petals and leaves spill out past the background and are reinforced with the use of copper wire. The panel is bordered in zinc. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique, but it can also be built in lead.

Etched Candleholder
Design by Norm and Ruth Dobbins
Instructions for etching purchased glass candleholders using a pressure sandblaster. This unusual design is reminiscent of ancient Egypt, with two sphinxes on either side of a tall, centered fan motif, and is created using the reverse etching technique.

Luau Wow!
Design by Leslie Gibbs
A 15" x 13" hanging panel with colorful Hawaiian shirt. This panel offers lots of three-dimensional aspects with its stand-away, slightly rolled collar fashioned from slumped glass. The designer label in the neck of the shirt is also kiln-made and can be painted and engraved to personalize the piece. Color combinations for the shirt are endless. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.
