Simple Floral Ornament—An Introduction to Stained Glass

A 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" free-form small panel of a stylized flower for beginners. An expanded how-to section illustrated in full-color covers each step of construction. Also included are a list of tools and materials needed for working in stained glass plus helpful hints on the best ways to use them. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.

Brew Up Your Own Mosaic Teapot

Instructions for adding “found” decorative items to bisque teapot blanks. Tips are included for incorporating things such as unique buttons, beads, ornaments, glass nuggets, refrigerator magnets, and recycled jewelry. The project is finished by grouting around the completed design.

Fused Glass Snowflakes

A set of 6-1/4", 7-1/4", 8-1/8", and 7" fused circular snowflakes with pointed edges made from glass triangles. The glass is cut into straight strips, then into squares, and finally into triangles with the use of Morton Glass Works. Tips are included for the efficient use of the glass cutter.
Three Kings Triptych

Three 13-1/3" x 18-1/2" painted Christmas panels featuring the three wise men on a gold leaf background. The paints are cured in the kiln. Outlining tips and techniques for working with glass paints are included. Panels are finished with 1/4" brass channel and hinged together.
